A crucial game for Ismael Diaz and Panama against England tomorrow

23/06/2018 23:26

Tomorrow at 2 pm, Panama and Fabril player Ismael Diaz will face their second encounter against a World Cup favourite, England.

Panama cannot lose if they do not want to see their World Cup dream cut short.

Ismael Diaz played the last 30 minutes of Group G’s first fixture against Belgium.

Yesterday, three Branquiazul players lined up for their national teams’ second World Cup fixture, and they all played the entire match.

Celso Borges with Costa Rica fell against Brazil (2-0) and have no options of getting through to the next stage. The Deportivista midfielder, who had a few chances in the first half, bravely fought off Brazil’s attempts until Coutinho scored in stoppage time.

In Group D, Francis and Nigeria beat Iceland 2-0 and depend on themselves in the last match against Argentina to get through to the Last-16 round.

Finally, Fabian Schär, with Switzerland, beat Serbia 1-2 and are one step closer to getting through to the next round. The Branquiazul defender had his work cut out for him with Serbia’s forwards, especially Mitrovic. He even had some goal-scoring opportunities such as a header from a corner kick in the first half.
