Today, Fabian Schär played against Japan in Lugano, Switzerland's training camp before leaving to Russia.

The Deportivista centre-back played the entire match in which the Swiss won 2-0, thanks to goals by Ricardo Rodriguez in the 42nd minute and Haris Seferović near the end, in the 82nd minute.

Today was Switzerland’s last friendly prior the World Cup.

Tomorrow, Krohn-Dehli will face Mexico with Denmark at the Brøndby Stadion in Brøndby. It will also be the Danish national team’s last preliminary test. Kick-off time is at 8 pm.

Yesterday, Celso Borges with Costa Rica faced a hard test against England in Leeds. The Deportivista midfielder, a national team regular, played the entire game in which Costa Rica lost 2-0 against England.

Celso Borges also played the whole 90 minutes against Northern Ireland last weekend in San Jose, and in which Costa Rica fans were able to bid the team farewell.

Next Monday 11th, the ‘Ticos’ will play their last friendly before the World Cup. They will play against Belgium at the King Baudouin stadium in Brussels.

Ismael Diaz is already in Russia with Panama. Panama’s set up training camp in the city of Saransk.
