Ryan Babel and Fernando Navarro spoke to the press after the match in Riazor.

Ryan Babel said that he was very happy to have been applauded when he came off for Marlos Moreno in the second half.

When asked about his future, the international Dutch player preferred to talk about the group: “We have a good group. We have grown together. In the month and a half I have been here, I have also grown and I am happy with that”.

He finished off saying, “We had a good a match today, and on Wednesday we have another one. I am very happy and focused on Wednesday’s game”

Fernando Navarro then stated, “all-round, the team played a good match from beginning to end. We dominated the match, the opportunities, against a direct rival, in need as much as us”.

The European champion told the press that the team is happy with the way things have been going the last matches, but like Babel before, he also reminded everyone that on Wednesday they have to play a Copa del Rey match against Betis (9pm): “to end the year, have a good match, and try to progress to the next round”.

Referring to the Osasuna match, Navarro highlighted that Dépor “played with experience, and knew how to play the match, good possession and little risk”.
