Cristobal Parralo emphasized in Abegondo’s press room that “we have to compete the best way possible every time we go out onto the pitch. We have to try and get a win. We have to leave with the sensation that we we had options of winning the game.”

He confirmed that both Sidnei, who received the all-clear today, and Schär, who trained with a mask, “can compete without a problem. Otherwise we would opt for other players.”

Regarding Sevilla, tomorrow’s rival at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan (6:30 pm, Bein LaLiga), he stated, “they're a good team with fans that cheer a lot, a stage with a lot of pressure.”

He warned that Sevilla have “a great squad, with good players. They’ve changed some this year, but the ones that have come also have a top level. They’re a team that inject intensity to the match, a team with impact on the wings, with dangerous aerial play, they have a lot of strengths.”

Despite this, he said, “it doesn’t matter who we play against, I’m more concerned with my team, and that they can rise to the challenge, that they work like they know how. That’s my job.”

Asked about Arribas and Andone, Cristobal was to the point: “That issue finished the other day. I already said that they would train with the group on Thursday. Today they’re on the list because we believe they can help the team. They’re players we can count on like the rest of their teammates.”
