This morning, Deportivo began to prepare Saturday's game against Pontevedra CF in Pasarón (5pm, TVG).

Fernando Vázquez has three players sidelined due to injury: Keko, Miku and Derik. All three carried out a specific workout with rehab fitness coach Fran Molano.

Fabril players Adri Castro, Juan Rodríguez and Alberto trained with the first team.

The Deportivista centre-back described this week's match against Pontevedra CF as "important but in the end, the work has to be the same. We have to focus on this match like any other and look forward to playing well. We know it's going to be a different match to the one in the pre-season, it'll be very difficult. What we want is to bring the three points home."

Borja Granero believes that the preparatory match in Pasarón was "very intense. You could see there were two teams that were going to fight for similar objectives. It had little to do with a pre-season match."
