Fernando Navarro and Florin Andone spoke to the press in Riazor’s mixed zone.

The Deportivista left-back confirmed he will be in Abegondo on the 5th of July: “My family are very happy here, I’m happy in the Club. I have a year left on my contract and it looks like I’ll continue another year”. The European champion, with a long career in First Division, sees himself with strength to continue competing in one of the most competitive leagues in the world: "Having played 26 matches in the starting XI, I think they’re good numbers", he added.

Fernando Navarro also highlighted that “we are really lucky to be able to count on such exceptional supporters. There are 20,000 people in every match, no matter how things are going. The truth is we haven’t done a good season and at least today we got a win. Both my teammates and I really appreciate the support. It’s not an easy time for the players, for the Board of Directors and the Club. When you see that the fans support you during this difficult time, it’s deeply appreciated".

Florin Andone, Dépor’s top scorer this season with 12 goals, gives himself “six and a half (out of ten)" points, the same mark he gives the rest of the team.

The Romanian international confessed that, after going through a difficult time, "the best thing is to be united. All of us want what’s best for Deportivo, we are what we are".

He assured, "we’ve given our all, from the first minute until today. I apologise to them (the supporters) if they felt offended or if they haven’t enjoyed our game, our points. Thanks to all the people who have been by our side and now think about next season, which will surely be much nicer, more exciting".

Regarding his future, Andone sees himself in A Coruña “if Dépor want me. I have four years left on my contract. I haven't spoken to anyone yet, nor do I have anything to speak about because they signed me for five seasons. I don’t think I’m going to leave. I don’t where I’d go, there’s nowhere better than here. I feel good here, as if it were my home. People have slowly begun to trust in me. I think it hasn’t turned out that badly in the end. I hope next season there are greater objectives, score more goals, play more, improve things I lack in and help the team all I can”.
