It was Koné's turn to speak to the press in Abegondo today.

The Branquiazul striker stated that on a personal level, "I feel better each time. We're working better each day."

He hopes that longed-for victory arrives "as soon as possible, this week in front of our fans," referring to Sunday's game against Elche CF at the ABANCA-RIAZOR (12pm, Movistar La Liga).

The reason for last Saturday's "bad dynamic" in Fuenlabrada was, "We were a little down after letting the goal in. Just as well we were able to react in the second half to equalise," he commented.

Koné assured "we have the team to pull this off, to win this week. I hope we can achieve it here."

The Deportivista forward admitted that in the last matches "we've been conceding few goals but we're finding it difficult to build up play and create chances. We lose the ball quickly. We have to work on this. We know that."

Precisely against Elche CF he hopes to see Deportivo "go all out, going for them from the very first minute. That's how we will achieve the win."

He confessed that "nobody thought at the start of the season could think we would be in this situation," referring to 13 consecutive games without a win. "It's very difficult to explain but it's real. We have to forget our past games and look forward," he added.

Along these lines, he highlighted that not having won in such a long time "is a heavy burden. You're on a bad roll, the rival scores first in every game, and in your head, you think the same thing is going to happen again."

The Branquiazul forward explained, "we are working both psychologically and on the pitch. And this is going to help us in our upcoming matches."
