Miguel Llorente, NEW Deportivo ABANCA 21-22 Coach!

Miguel Llorente Deniz (Madrid, 10 August 1982) is the new Deportivo ABANCA coach for the 2021-2022 Season.

The coach has a long trajectory in FC Barcelona's youth teams where he began after having worked almost a decade with the youth teams of CE Europa Barcelonés (2002-2004 and 2008-2015).

After working as a coach in the FCB Escola for two seasons, he joined FC Barcelona B women’s team as an assistant coach, a post which he occupied for three seasons from 2017 to 2020. During his last season, he became the head coach, where he achieved the fourth position in Grupo Norte of Reto Iberdrola.

Dépor ABANCA's assistant coach will be Ana González Rivera (Redondela, Pontevedra, 8 January 1995), who besides having been Deportivo ABANCA’s goalkeeper for three seasons (2016-2019, 17 official matches with the first team), she was also the Branquiazul goalie for the first official match in the team’s history, on 4 September 2016 against Oviedo Moderno CF in Ponte dos Brozos (Arteixo). As a coach, she was Orzán SD’s first team's coach for the last two seasons in Primera División Gallega.

Aitor Prieto (women’s football training coordinator and analyst), Miguel García Esmorís (assistant coach), Carlos Domínguez (fitness coach), and Fran Martínez Nión (goalkeeper coach), will continue as part of the coaching staff for Dépor ABANCA 2021-2022.
