Dépor's top scorer, Quique González, was named by Dépor supporters - for the second time so far this season - the Estrella Galicia Player of the Month. It is a prize for his performance in the fixtures against Rayo Majadahonda, Osasuna, Extremadura and Numancia last April.

With one of the highest participations, 2,685 votes, the forward won the most disputed award: 29%, ahead of Dani Giménez (28%), Borja Valle (23%) and Álex Bergantiños (20%).

Quique, Edu Expósito and Dani are the 3 players who have won it twice each this year, and together with Borja Valle and Carlos Fernández, who also hold this award.

Daniel Rodríguez, manager of Cervecería Portofino in Calle de la Estrella, establishment of the month, gave Quique González the trophy. He wanted to thank Estrella Galicia for promoting this award "small gratifying things for any footballer, they are really touching."
