Celso Borges and Adrian spoke to the press in Butarque’s mixed zone.

Both players regretted the chances Dépor blew in the first minutes of the match against Leganes.

The Costa Rica international highlighted “we played a good first half, where we created clear chances. Those attempts are the result of very good defensive work as a group. We carried on doing it in the second half but without reaching the opposition’s box as much. But sometimes games are like that.”

Borges explained that “I’d be more worried if the team weren’t able to generate those opportunities. The team didn’t wither, we simply needed more clear chances in the second half. The team was switched on defensively and we tried to create something.”

He assured he continues believing “firmly in remaining in Primera. We have the ability to. This is football, and anything can happen.”

He emphasized that he is convinced that the team “can carry on against any adversity and we will continue being there, fighting, so that the fans can be proud of their team.”

Adrian Lopez stated that Butarque “is a complicated ground. They haven’t lost many points at home. They're quite a strong team. It was a pity at the start of the game which was when the team was at its best. We had chances to take the lead, but it didn’t happen. At the end of the day it’s a point and we hope this can help.”

He highlighted Lucas’ work, as he was the player with the most opportunities: “He had a great match. He always contributes a lot to the team, in every ball that he dribbles, in every ball he holds onto. He’s a very important player for us. A pity we didn’t score at the start.”

With the match against Barcelona at the ABANCA-RIAZOR coming up next week, Adrian stated, “we have to win. We don’t have any other choice. It's going to be a very difficult match against the team that’s most likely going to be champion soon. We play at home, we have to be more united than ever, believe more than ever. With our fans, who I’m sure are going to be behind us every way.”
