On Saturday, #ANOSACANTEIRA (Our Academy) finished a long season that started nearly twelve months ago. They will begin their holidays with constant growth in all aspects, and with one more team, the Women’s Deportivo Abanca B team, which will compete in the Women’s First Division.

The almost 300 players among the 12 teams obtained 12 official titles distributed in the following way:

Fabril: Third Division
Under 14: Group 1 of Liga Gallega and Copa Galicia
Under 13: Group 1 of Primera División Autonómica
Under 12: Primera Comarcal A Coruña, Northern Group of the eleven-a-side Luis Calvo Trophy and Galician champion of the eleven-a-side Luis Calvo Trophy
Under 11: Segunda Comarcal a Coruña and Group 1 of the Segunda Fase
Under 10: Primera Comarcal A Coruña and Fase Norte del Campeonato Gallego
Under 9: Segunda Comarcal A Coruña

The teams also paraded the Club’s name and colours all over Spain (Zaragoza, Almería, Azpeitia, Oviedo, Salamanca, Barcelona, Maspalomas, etc.) and Europe (Germany, Italy, France, etc.) in several friendly tournaments in which many of them were successful.

Abegondo closes but not for long. Fabril, the first development squad, will begin training on the 11th of July.

Real Club Deportivo would like to thank all the coaches, delegates, kitmen, doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, and the support staff (cafeteria, laundry, cleaning, gardening, security, etc.), for all their effort and professionalism, that for so many months, turns Abegondo's Training Grounds into an authentic footballer factory, where everyone dreams of wearing the first team’s shirt one day.
