Two RC Deportivo players have an international game tomorrow: Fabian Schär and Fede Valverde.

Switzerland cannot fail against Andorra

Deportivista central defender, Fabian Schär, has been called to play for Switzerland against Andorra, at the Kybunpark in St Gallen (8:45 pm local time).

The Swiss have 18 points and sit at the top of Group B of the European Qualifiers for the World Cup, with Portugal 3 points behind in second place.

On Sunday 3 September (8:45 pm local time), Switzerland will play Latvia, who are bottom of the group, in Riga.

Uruguay, with Fede Valverde, against Argentina

The Uruguayan Football Federation have called Fede Valverde for their next encounters to qualify for the 2018 Russia World Cup, in which La Celeste have to face Argentina and Paraguay.

This is the first time the national side call the young Branquiazul midfielder, who was awarded the Silver Ball in 2017 U20 World Cup, in which Uruguay reached the semi-finals.

Tomorrow, Uruguay will face Argentina in Montevideo (8 pm local time). The match will take place at the Estadio Centenario.

On Tuesday, the Uruguayans will play Paraguay (8 pm local time, 2 am on Wednesday 6 in Spain), at the Estadio Defensores del Chaco de Asunción, in the country’s capital.

La Celeste currently occupies the third position in South America’s qualifying stage. The first four will go straight to compete in Russia, whilst the fifth will have to play against Oceania’s champion, and the winner of this game will also play in the World Cup.

Tytoń, with Poland, against Denmark and Kazakhstan

Deportivista keeper, Przemysław Tytoń has been called to play for Poland’s matches against Denmark on Friday 1 September in Copenhagen, and against Kazakhstan on Monday 4 September in Warsaw.

Both matches, in which the Branquiazul keeper will participate, are to qualify for the 2018 Russia World Cup.

Poland are at the top of Group E with 16 points, and a 6-point advantage over Montenegro.

USA and Mexico are Celso Borges’ next rivals

Celso Borges and Costa Rica will have two complicated rivals this month and in September, to qualify for the 2018 Russia World Cup.

Thus, on Friday 1 September, Costa Rica will play USA at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison (New Jersey, 6:55 pm, local time).

On Tuesday 5 September, they will face Mexico (Estadio Nacional de San José, 8:05 pm, local time), one of the favourites to qualify for the World Cup.

Andone will face Armenia and Montenegro with no room for error

The Romanian Football Federation has called Florin Andone for two official matches, to qualify for the 2018 Russia World Cup.

Thus, Romania will face Armenia on Friday 1 September, in Bucharest (9:45 pm local time), and on Monday 4 September, they will visit Montenegro in Podgorica (8:45 pm local time).

The Romanians have very little room for error as they are fourth in Group E with 6 points, 10 points away from Poland who are at the top, and 4 points away from second place, which would allow them to play the playoff.
