Deportivo captain, Adrian Lopez, spoke to the press in Balaidos’ mixed zone.

The Asturian striker believes that the Deportivista squad was aware of the difficulty of the match, “as always it's the derby, especially here in Balaidos. And that’s the way it was from the beginning to the end. We improved. We were better in the second half. We didn't give up at any moment and in the end, we drew, and it’s good to draw here. It’s a complicated ground and it was a complicated match.”

Adrian insisted that playing #ONOSODERBI “in the situation the two teams are in is more comfortable for them than for us.”

The Branquiazul forward regretted that “now, the team is at its best in this final stage. We're frustrated that it didn’t happen in time to fight until the end. But anyway, we’re going to try and finish the season with the good vibe the team has. We deserve it, the Club, the players as well as the fans, to see a team that has a good level, and we have to carry on this way.”

Adrian commented that from the moment the relegation was certified, “we’re only focused on giving a good image, which I think the team is doing in this last stage of the league. We have to carry on doing this. It's the ideal thing we have to do. It’s not easy, but we’re still training every day for the next match that comes.”
