Two of Dépor’s captains, Celso Borges and Juanfram, spoke to the press in Ipurua’s mixed zone.

The Costa Rican international believes the team “has come out stronger from here. This result can turn out to be important in the second round”.

Celso Borges said that 2 away wins in the last 24 games are “statistics that don’t favour us. But that's what there is, we can’t complain. We have to go out for the matches, like today. It’s a factor that motivates us in breaking that streak”.

He is sure that “slowly we will convince people we’re a good team. There are good players and from that point on, we’ll transform into a good team, and that takes time”.

Juanfran highlighted that the draw in Eibar “doesn’t taste bitter because coming out with a clean sheet for us is a success. We have found it hard not concede goals”.

The Deportivista right-back is convinced that “if we could achieve not conceding so many goals, with the strikers we have, it would be a normal thing to win matches, and the team would grow a lot”.

Just like Pepe Mel in his press conference, Juanfran regretted the number of mistakes made in delivering that last pass, and he admitted, “if we had been more precise in some actions, we would have won the match. The team has performed well”.
