Celso Borges has been preselected for Costa Rica

Celso Borges has been preselected for his national side Costa Rica, for two official games in March to qualify for the 2018 world Cup in Russia.

On Friday 24 March, Costa Rica will visit Mexico in Mexico City, and four days later, they will play against Honduras in San Pedro Sula.

The final list will be published on Thursday 16 March. If Celso Borges were to finally be selected, he would have to travel to his country on Monday 20 March, the day after #ONOSODERBI (Our Derby) against Celta.

Borges has 98 caps for Costa Rica, which would mean if he plays these two matches, he would be the seventh player in ‘Los Ticos’ history to dispute 100 games .

Kakuta has been preselected to play a friendly for the Democratic Republic of Congo

Deportivo player, Gaël Kakuta, has been preselected by the DR Congo national team, for a friendly during the next league break.

The match will take place on Sunday 26 March, in Nairobi against Kenya.

The Congolese Association Football Federation will publish the final list of players in the following days.
