Charity Adule, NEW Dépor ABANCA 21-22 Player!

Charity Ogbenyealu Adule (Abia, Nigeria, 7 November 1993) has joined Deportivo ABANCA for the 2021-2022 season.

The Nigerian winger was signed from SD Eibar, the team in which she has played the last two seasons. In her first season, they achieved the promotion to Primera Iberdrola, playing 19 fixtures and scoring 8 goals. Last season, she played the same amount of fixtures but scored no goals.

Previously, Adule played in Rivers Angels FC (2006-2011), where she debuted in the senior category at the age of 14, and in Bayelsa Queens FC (2011-2014), both in her native country. She later signed for BIIK Kazygurt, a Kazajistán team in which she played for five seasons (2014-2019), where she achieved all the titles in League-Cup.

She has always played as an international with Nigeria, Adule participated in two U20 World Cups. In the 2010 edition, in Germany, they reached the final, where Nigeria lost against the hosting team (2-0). Adule played 5 out of the 6 matches, although she only started in one of them. In the 2012 Championship in Japan, Nigeria achieved the fourth position after losing in the semi-finals against USA. Adule played 5 matches and started in 2 of them.
