After the Cardiovascular Week event at the HM clinic in Matogrande, Christian Santos said, “they were 3 very important points” against Granada CF yesterday.

The Venezuelan international highlighted the Branquiazuis’ attacking game against the Andalusian side, which came from a good streak to the ABANCA-RIAZOR. “There’s going to be much more throughout the season.” he promised.

Christian was also happy for the fans because “they deserve it. It’s the path we must continue.”

On a personal level and despite not playing yesterday, he believes he must have patience. “I missed the pre-season, I was with the national team. My teammates had more time to enjoy it. I have to wait for my opportunity and give it all.”

Along these lines, he confessed he finds it “appalling that Second Division doesn’t stop. It stops in every country. They should have considered that so that the international players that are in Second Division could enjoy it. I lost 2 games and continuity. Therefore, it’s complicated.”

He pointed out he feels confident with his game “and that's what’s most important,” he highlighted that even though the league is very long, it’s time to “be patient and work hard. The rest will follow.”

Regarding Sunday’s match against Nastic at the Nou Estadi in Tarragona (8:30 pm, Gol and LaLiga 1|2|3 TV), the Deportivista striker stated, “if we prepare ourselves well, as it should be, it’s going to be different” to the match in Alcorcon.
