Clarence Seedorf takes up the reins of Dépor
Clarence Seedorf took up the reins of Deportivo in Abegondo this morning. Accompanied by his assistant coach, Valerio Fiori, and the rest of the Club’s training staff (Jose Angel Franganillo, Julio Hernando, Manu Sotelo and Fran Molano), the new Deportivista coach directed his players, including Fabrilistas Edu Exposito, One, and Quique Fornos on pitch number 3.
The training began at 11:30 am, and the lads performed a tactical positioning drill, a technical task, and they finished off with a possession drill.
At the end of the session, the squad left to the Melia Maria Pita Hotel to have lunch together, which they will repeat tomorrow and Thursday. The team will also have double sessions these three days. The lads will train again this afternoon, at 5:30 pm, in Abegondo.
Sidnei trained separately from the rest of the group, and Pedro Mosquera performed some of the tasks with the rest of his teammates.
The squad have a tactical session scheduled for tomorrow in Abegondo
Tomorrow, Deportivo will have another double training session, morning and afternoon in Abegondo Training Centre.
In the morning, Clarence Seedorf has organised a 45-minute tactical drill with the squad divided into two groups:
-11 am: Luisinho, One, Albentosa, Boveda, Juanfran, Schär, Quique Fornos, Navarro, Gerard, Ruben, Koval, Tyton, Krohn-Delhi and Celso Borges.
-11:45 am: Lucas, Andone, Bakkali, Adrian, Çolak, Valverde, Cartabia, Carles Gil, Borja and Pedro Mosquera.
The team will have lunch at the Melia Maria Pita Hotel at 2:30 pm and will return to Abegondo at 5:30 pm.
This afternoon, along with Fabril players One and Quique Fornos, Dépor trained for one hour and a half, where they mainly carried out tactical work on pitches 2 and 3.
Only Sidnei and Mosquera worked separately, the first with the physiotherapists and the latter with our rehab fitness coach, Fran Molano.
