This morning at Estadio ABANCA-RIAZOR’S press room, Cristobal Parralo highlighted he hoped that in tomorrow’s match against Malaga (12 pm, Bein LaLiga), “to back up the good work that’s being done. We’re training and working well.”

The Deportivista coach insisted that “I’m over the moon with how they’re training, with how they’re working. I’d like the match against Malaga to reward the work they’re doing.”

He also insisted that “I have good feelings about the work they’re doing in our training sessions, but the match is where we have to compete.”

Along these lines, he explained that to obtain a positive result at La Rosaleda tomorrow, “we have to compete; we have to go onto the pitch and try and be superior to our rival and obtain three points.”

For this reason, he requested they “try and win from the first minute and have that ambition. That’s what we’re looking for.”

When asked about the number of players, Cristobal admitted that “I’m very satisfied with the squad I have at my disposal. We have a large squad and that’s obvious. I don’t like leaving players out when they’re training well; they’re working well. But, at the end of the day, we’re professionals, we have to be responsible for the decisions we make.”

Then, he sent a message to his squad: “There are new people on the list. Ruben, Borja Valle, Gerard... There’s still a lot of season ahead. I like rewarding hard work. What we’re clear on is that we have to concentrate on gaining the necessary points in order to be calm. Now we have to work hard, trying to assure that they deserve to be on the list and in the line-up. We're doing good work, but now we have to wait for the best moment to give opportunities.”
