Cristobal Parralo described last night’s end result at the Estadio ABANCA-RIAZOR against Valencia CF as “a difficut defeat to digest, but it’s what we have to do.”

Along this line, he confessed feeling “helpless because the team was doing things well. We had a few clear chances to get ahead on the scoreboard. We’re always facing difficulties. In First Division it’s very difficult to change the outcome each week.”

The Dépor coach highlighted that “those small details cost us big. We have to take it, keep working and keep improving.”

Cristobal insisted that “by working we can get out of this rut. I don’t see an unwilling team or that they don’t work for it.”

On the other hand, Marcelino, Valencia’s coach, stated that “we knew that it was going to be a very difficult game because Dépor plays well in attack. Today they played very offensive football, which was very demanding in defence.”

Valencia’s coach thinks that “we defended very well, the team was very committed, very solid. We knew how important it was to defend to gain our victory. The pitch became complicated, too much rain. We resolved the match very well.”
