In the press room at the Estadio de la Ceramica, Cristobal Parralo stated that he felt “satisfied with the draw, seeing how the game went down.” “It’s a fair result. We performed so as not to come back empty-handed,” he highlighted.

He commented that “the first half an hour we did quite well. It’s true that after their goal we were a bit doubtful and it took us some time to react. In the second half they came on strong, they controlled the match. We had to make some changes to try and open our chances in the match and have a chance to draw.”

The Deportivista coach stated that today Dépor visited “a very difficult ground, against a tough rival. What we have to try and change is our current dynamic, find stability to get out of that danger zone.”

Despite the absence of players such as Lucas, Fede Valverde or Schär, who have played a lot of minutes, due to injury or accumulation of yellow cards, Cristobal pointed out that “we have a squad that’s prepared for that. When there are absences, work has to go on the same as those who generally play. I’m very happy with the team’s performance and effort. We were looking to compete and we did.”
