This afternoon, Deportivo sent the Uruguayan Football Federation a medical report on Deportivista Fede Valverde’s physical condition, who was called to play by the South American team for the China Cup; a competition that will be played in the Chinese city of Nanning from Thursday 22 to Monday 26 of March, and in which Uruguay, the host China, Wales and the Czech Republic will participate.

According to Rafael Martin Acero, coordinator of RC Deportivo’s Footballer’s Performance Support Services (FPSS), the footballer has been sidelined since last February 12th, due to a first-second degree muscle injury in the middle third of his left femoral biceps. Fede Valverde is currently in the sports rehabilitation process and does not have a time frame to return with the rest of the group.

RC Deportivo’s report also includes the diagnostic images of the Branquiazul midfielder’s injury.

Celso Borges will play against Scotland and Tunisia

Costa Rica’s national team, with Celso Borges on the list, will get ready for the 2018 Russia World Cup against Scotland and Tunisia.

On Friday 23 March, Costa Rica will visit the Hampden Park Stadium in Glasgow, Scotland (7:45 pm, local time); and on Tuesday 27 March, they will play Tunisia at the Alliance Rivera in Nice (8 pm).

Dépor’s midfielder must join his national team in Glasgow on Monday 19 March, straight after the match against UD Las Palmas at the Estadio ABANCA-RIAZOR on Saturday 17th March (1 pm, Bein LaLiga).

Two new friendlies for Florin Andone with Romania

Dépor striker, Florin Andone, has been called to play with Romania for two friendlies that will take place this month.

On Friday 23rd, the Romanians will visit the city of Netanya, Israel; and on Tuesday 27th they will receive Sweden in Craiova (Romania).

Andone will travel on Sunday 18 March to join his national team.
