Dépor players blame the lack of concentration and the refereeing decisions although they are now thinking about Málaga
Celso Borges, Alejandro Arribas, and Laure spoke to the press in Sánchez Pizjuán’s mixed zone. They all coincided in moving forward as soon as possible and getting to work on breaking this bad streak of results with a victory next match, against Málaga in Riazor.
The Costa Rica midfielder commented, “We’re missing something” and the “defensive situations are everyone’s doing”. “We need oxygen, we need to breathe again. We hope that a win against Málaga will give us that”, he added.
Arribas highlighted that the team “came back twice” from an adverse result. The central-defender insisted that “we have to be stronger when we defend. We have to carry on working and improving. Regarding the referee’s mistakes he said, “It isn’t an excuse, but the mistakes wear the team down”.
Laure stated “we were always in the game but we were also always behind”. Regarding the refereeing decisions, in his point of view, it was a “blatant” penalty on Ola John, “although it was a silly one”. Referring to the match against Málaga, our captain said that “we have to get a good result”.
