Derik trains with team and Miku receives the all-clear

Derik Osede is in the final stage of his recovery. The Deportivista centre-back, who was injured in Salamanca against Unionistas on 1 November, joined the rest of his team-mates for today's session.

Despite the progress made, the Branquiazul defender has not been given the all-clear ahead of Sunday's game against RC Celta B at the ABANCA-RIAZOR (5pm, TVG); the Medical Staff want to wait and see how he progresses.

However, Miku has been given the all-clear and Fernando Vázquez will be able to count on him for this weekend's encounter. So far, only Keko is training separately.

In this morning's press conference, Fernando Vázquez higlighted that RC Celta B "is an academy team. When you're a young kid you can play some games extraordinarily well. Regularity is not the norm in young teams but they're players that are hoping to be called up to the first team. And that motivation, that joy, playing unworried whether the result has an impact can make their football more or less flowing."

The Deportivista coach does not see this game as "a derby, like a match with great rivalry. I see this as another team that is being hosted at the ABANCA-RIAZOR. In my opinion, our rivalry is with RC Celta, the first team. Not with their B team. But the situation is what it is. It's a painful situation for the fans but nobody best try and make this out as a derby because we don't see it that way, neither does #ANOSAFORZA (our fans), nor do my players see it that way."
