Garitano: We have drawn at a difficult ground where nobody else has won

In the after-match press conference, Gaizka Garitano declared: “we started the game very badly, we were asleep. We played the first fifteen minutes very badly, and then we improved bit by bit. We were better in the second half”.

The Deportivista coach thinks “the draw is fair”. “We went from bad to good. We started off asleep and with a very bad performance in the first fifteen minutes. Afterwards, the team improved”, he said.

Garitano believes that he will recover injured players (Carles Gil, Bruno Gama, etc.), in the next few days: “bring forwards on so that we don’t have to play with two full-backs on the same wing, or that neither Emre nor Joselu have to play on the right. We need to finally recover players”.

He finished off by saying “We have drawn at a difficult ground where nobody else has won. We leave with a point that has us finishing the first round with 19”.
