Kakuta: "Dépor play a style of football I like, they play the ball well"
Gaël Kakuta (21 June 1991, Lille - France), passed his medical examination this morning in A Coruña’s HM Modelo Hospital. He then signed his contract with Deportivo that states he is on loan until 30 June.
In his first statement to the press, at the HM Modelo Hospital in A Coruña, the player admitted he was “very happy to return to Spain. I’d like to thank Deportivo for counting on me”.
He then told the press how much he likes LaLiga: “I had the opportunity to come back. And I’m very happy to be here”.
Fitnesswise, the French forward explained “I have been working out with a Fitness coach for a month. I’m fit. I worked a little with the team in China. I’m fine”.
He did, however, ask for “some time” to adapt, because “I’ve come from a country with a six hour difference”.
He promised to “workout well in order to play soon”, a decision he believes is Gaizka Garitano’s to make.
Referring to Deportivo, he said, “it’s a team that play a style of football I like, they play the ball well. I know the players because you can watch the Liga on television”.
