Laureano Sanabria said farewell in Abegondo’s press room this morning. He leaves 10 seasons of wearing the branquiazul shirt and lots of memories behind.

He was accompanied by the Club's advisors, Dani Ramos and Quique Calvete, Richard Barral the Sporting Director, Juan Ángel Barros Botana the Team Delegate, and his teammates Álex Bergantiños, Pedro Mosquera, Alejandro Arribas and Fernando Navarro.

In tears, he was unable to read a speech. He found it hard to answer the jounalists’ questions: “My idea is something of a see you later. I’m very grateful to Dépor for everything. They gave me the opportunity and have always counted on me. I’m going to prepare myself to be here and try to contribute from outside” he noted.

The full-back from Madrid revealed his new team will be Alcorcón to which he is going to because of personal matters: “As you know, my father had an accident. My best option was to go to Madrid, be with my family, with my father, with my brothers”. “Furthermore, Alcorcón have placed a lot of faith in me, they are counting on me. I’m very thankful for Alcorcón placing their trust in me”, he added.

Despite him leaving, he will support Deportivo just like another Deportivista: “I’m sure we're going to form an exciting team. We’ll achieve that union that makes Deportivo strong. I hope that everything goes better this season”.
