A total of seven youth players trained with the first team this morning. Juan Rodríguez and goalkeeper Pablo Brea, who already trained with them yesterday, were joined today by Manu Mosquera, Trilli, Guille Bueno, Iván Guerrero and Barba.

They all successfully passed the COVID-19 test consisting of an antigen test; and, therefore, they are also authorized according to the sanitary protocol to compete in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday, 6 January at the ABANCA-RIAZOR against Deportivo Alavés (7pm).

In this morning's session, after a warm-up and a power circuit, Fernando Vázquez organised a series of tactical exercises, some specifically for the forwards and defenders. The session finished with a possession drill and a match on one half of pitch number 2 .

Bóveda and Derik alternated drills with the group and others adapted to their injuries. Keko, Héctor, Borja Granero, Claudio Beauvue and Miku also had a specific workout in the gym and on the pitch. Gandoy and Adri Castro remain isolated in their homes.

Finally, Uche is on leave and Borja Galán had a setback today, as he was forced to retire in the middle of the session due to pain in his biceps femoris, which is pending medical evaluation in the next few hours.

The squad is summoned again tomorrow at 10:30am in Abegondo.
