Michele Somma spoke to the press at ABANCA-RIAZOR.

The Italian centre-back assured that tomorrow at the El Alcoraz against SD Huesca (7pm, Movistar, LaLiga TV and GOL) "we're playing against a very strong team because all the teams that have relegated from Primera are always very tough. It's a difficult match. But we're Deportivo and we're going to bring our game to every pitch. We aren't afraid of anyone."

He insisted that the squad, beginning with Juan Antonio Anquela, want "a Deportivo that isn't afraid of anyone. We take our game to every pitch. We go for the 3 points. Then, anything can happen but what we can't lack is the right attitude."

About the first match against Real Oviedo, he highlighted that "starting well, with 3 points, is always good. Now that match is over and it's time to think about the next one."

He also commented "when the rivals score goals, it's tough on the defenders. But that's why we revise our mistakes and work to improve."

Like Bóveda yesterday, Somma also reassured the press that the Branquiazuis "are confident" with how to defend dead-ball actions. "Last year I had a good rating defending like this. We have confidence in this," he added.

On a personal level, now playing as a left centre-back, he admitted that "I feel better on the right. But there's no problem. I’d keep on playing even as a goalie. The important thing is to be in the starting 11. For me it's an honour." "Playing on the left I must find different solutions because it's my weaker foot. But I don't mind," he concluded.
