The Deportivo players with more options of going to the 2018 Russia World Cup with their national teams, already know their rivals in the Group stages.

The highlight of this afternoon’s draw for Deportivistas is the clash between Switzerland and Costa Rica, in which Fabian Schär and Celso Borges could face each other.

Possible Branquiazul presence in five of the World Cup groups

Fede Valverde's Uruguay was drawn in Group A. The Branquiazul midfielder, who was of the regulars in the last qualifying stages, will have to play against Russia, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Switzerland and Costa Rica will coincide in Group E. A regular in Switzerland's defence is Fabian Schär; whilst in the ‘Tico’ team, one of Dépor's captains, Celso Borges, bosses the midfield. Brazil and Serbia complete this group, one of the most difficult of the entire championship.

Poland are in Group H, where Przemysław Tytoń was called in several occasions, but never got to play. Poland’s rivals are Senegal, Colombia and Japan.

Fabril players Francis Uzoho and Ismael Diaz also have chances of going to Russia.

The Nigerian keeper, Francis, will have to face Argentina, Iceland and Croatia in Group D. The young Fabril player debuted with his national team in a friendly against Argentina last November, in Krasnodar (Russia), where his team won 4-2. Francis played the second half and did not concede any goals.

Fabril striker, Ismael Diaz, will face Belgium, Tunisia and England in Group G, with Panama.
