Just like Celso Borges, Fede Valverde did not have to travel far during the international break, as Uruguay, who has already qualified for the World Cup, will play both their friendly matches in Europe.
Tomorrow, Uruguay will face Austria at the Ernst Happel stadium in Vienna, at 8:45 pm.
Last Friday, against Poland, Fede Valverde was a substitute and did not get to play the friendly which ended 0-0.
An interesting clash between Romania and Holland
Branquiazul players Florin Andone and Costel Pantilimon were selected by Romania for their two friendly matches in November.
The second friendly encounter will take place tomorrow at the National Stadium in Bucharest against Holland (9 pm).
The first encounter took place at the Constantin Radulescu stadium in Cluj, last Thursday. Pantilimon was in the line-up and played 71 minutes. The other Deportivista, Andone, went on in the 67th minute for Keserü. Romania won 2-0.
Romania are out of the 2018 Russia World Cup as they finished fourth behind Poland, Denmark and Montenegro.
Francis, Fabril’s goalkeeper will face Messi
Francis Uzoho, the young goalkeeper who debuted recently in an official match wearing RC Deportivo’s shirt, has been called for the first time by Nigeria, for the last 2018 World Cup qualifying match.
On Tuesday 14 November they will play a friendly against Argentina at the Krasnodar Stadium, in Krasnodar (Russia). Francis may debut with his national side against Lionel Messi.

Schär will finally train in Abegondo on Wednesday
Deportivista Fabian Schär and his national team, Switzerland, faced Northern Ireland in the play-offs for a place in the 2018 Russia World Cup.
The first leg took place in Belfast last Thursday, at the Windsor Park. Switzerland won 0-1. Schär was in the starting eleven and played the whole match, despite having received a yellow card in the first five minutes.
The second leg took place today at the St Jakob Park in Basel (Switzerland). The match ended in a goalless draw, in what was a tough game due to Northen Ireland’s resistance and the difficult climate conditions: rain and a waterlogged pitch. The Deportivista defender played the entire match and looks like he will be one of Switzerland's regulars in the World Cup.
Hence, Fabian Schär joins the other Deportivistas who already had their ticket to the World Cup: Celso Borges (Costa Rica), Fede Valverde (Uruguay), Tyton (Poland) and Fabril players, Francis (Nigeria) and Ismael Díaz (Panama).
The Branquiazul defender was a regular in every match of the group stage, where Switzerland came second, with the same points (27) as Portugal who were first and qualified thanks to a better goal difference.
Finally, Schär will return to A Coruña on Tuesday, therefore he will train under Cristobal Parralo’s orders on Wednesday at 10:30 am.
