Michael Krohn-Dehli and Fabril player Francis Uzoho played their last group match of the Russia World Cup today.

The Danish midfielder spent his third match on the bench, and saw his team draw 0-0 against France, allowing them to qualify for the next round in second place with 5 points. France secured the top spot with 7 points.

Croatia will be Denmark’s next rivals in the last 16 round, on Sunday 1 July, at 8 pm in the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.

Once again, Francis lined up for Nigeria against Argentina. The African side lost 1-2 practically in stoppage time and have to say goodbye to the World Cup.

The Fabrilista keeper performed superbly. He denied Higuain's one-on-one chance and cleared Messi’s free-kick with an amazing save.

Tomorrow, Celso Borges will face Fabian Schär. Both Deportivistas will make Branquiazul history at 8 pm in the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium for what will be the last Group E match. Costa Rica are already out, but want to leave Russia on a positive note. This match will see two Dépor players face each other for the first time ever in World Cup history.

Switzerland, who are playing to get through to the next round, is in second place with 4 points, the same as Brazil who leads the group because of goal difference. Serbia are third with 3 points.

Finally, Ismael Diaz is ruled out because of a knee injury due to a collision with his team mate Adolfo Machado in Panama’s training session in Saransk.

According to the Panama Football Federation, the medical tests have revealed that the player has a “bone contusion in the external femoral condyle of his right knee.” The Fabrilista striker is ruled out for his national team’s last game against Tunisia on Thursday at 8 pm.
