After beating Ghana 1-0 last night, Egypt have advanced to the 2017 AFCON quarter-finals as Group D winners where they will face Morocco and our Deportivista Fayçal Fajr. The clash will take place on Sunday, 29 January at 8pm in Stade de Port-Gentil.

Last Tuesday, with Fayçal in the starting XI, Morocco sent current holders (Ivory Coast) home, by beating them 1-0.

The Dépor forward played 83 minutes and had an outstanding performance. He came very close to scoring the opener when his free-kick smashed onto the woodwork in the 25th minute.

With two wins and one defeat, Morocco qualify as runners up behind group winners Congo.

Fayçal was in the starting line-up against Togo and Ivory coast, and he played 17 minutes in Morocco’s first match against Congo.
