A Historic Branquiazul Call-up for Spain's U19 Squad

#ANOSACANTEIRA continues to make history with as three of our players get called to play for Spain's U19 squad. As well as it being the first time in history that three of our players are called, Dani Barcia, Trilli, and Noel are also the first footballers who have been an entire decade at the Club.
The current Spanish champions have been called to train and play some friendly matches against Mexico from 30 August to 7 September in the Alicante town of Alfaz del Pi.
Trilli, Noel, and Dani Barcia are the #ANOSACANTEIRA members who are in the final squad of the U19 side. Goalkeeper Brais Suárez was also called but did not make it into the final list. Along with Atlético de Madrid and Sevilla FC, Dépor is the club with the most players in this team, a total of three. In addition, a fourth, Hugo Novoa (from Red Bull Leipzig) who was also developed and came up the ranks of Abegondo Training Centre.
All of them have trained this summer with the first team. Dani Barcia, Noel, and Trilli already debuted this pre-season in a friendly match under Borja Jiménez. The only player who has not participated is goalkeeper Brais Suárez, who was part of Fabril's starting eleven last season.
The chosen players will leave on Monday 30 August, after the first league game against RC Celta B at the ABANCA-RIAZOR scheduled for Sunday, 29 August at 9:30pm (Footters). They will return on Sunday 5 September, so they will not be available for the second league fixture, which will be away against CD Tudelano.

Friday 3 September
8pm: SPAIN - MEXICO, at the Camilo Cano Olympic Stadium in La Nucía
Sunday 5 September
11:30am: SPAIN - MEXICO, at the Guillermo Amor Stadium in Benidorm
