Álex Bergantiños and Quique González spoke to the press at the Los Cármenes’ mixed zone.

The Deportivista captain described tonight’s triumph against "one of those teams that concede very little and compete well. We stepped up today in the sense of competing away from the ABANCA-RIAZOR. A minor detail was the decider. We felt comfortable counter-attacking. The team has stepped up competing away from A Coruña."

The Coruña midfielder explained the tension in the last minutes: "In the end, they press, they're all up front, they're strong."

He is certain that the disallowed goal is definitely a handball: "It was blatant. We heard the sound of his palm hitting the ball. We were lucky the ref was close by and saw it. It's not an easy decision for him."

Álex concluded that the match was very important: "Osasuna won and so did Albacete. The top of the table is very tight. For us to win here, as well as the goal average, it's morale-boosting. A few weeks ago the team wasn't able to win away from the ABANCA-RIAZOR and having won in important grounds for the upcoming ones, Málaga, Pamplona, very difficult grounds."

Quique González, who was decisive with his goal, urges to "keep calm. We have to be glad that we've won in such a complicated ground, but we have to play another rival on Saturday, and even thought they're not at the top, they can make it difficult for us. We have to enjoy the moment and analyse the things we didn't do as well as we wanted to. It's always best to correct our mistakes after a win."

The Deportivista striker stated, "scoring is always nice when you're a player and a striker. It was 0-1 and right in front of our people. I'm very happy. I work every day for moments like these. I'm happy for Deportivo who achieve 3 points and are up there."
