Pedro Mosquera was the centre of attention in Abegondo this morning.

The Coruña midfielder believes that yesterday’s match against Espanyol “was positive for everyone, for the fans, for us. A pity we didn’t achieve the 3 points. This way, the results will come."

He admitted that they now have to win several games in a row because “as time passes there are less games left and we're still at the bottom. The good thing is we have several games in a row. I believe the moment we’re in now, playing the way we played yesterday, we can beat anyone, not just direct rivals or ones in a similar situation as us.”

Along these lines he recalled “we’ve already done this before, other years, we played good matches against teams with a higher level than ours. We cannot brush any fixture aside. There are 13, 14 fixtures. We have to try and make as many points as possible.”

Regarding Clarence Seedorf, he pointed out, “he is a great professional, he has everyone on their toes. His arrival is positive.” “He’s very perfectionist. Everything he does, both on and off the pitch is studied. He leaves nothing to chance. I suppose he was a perfectionist as a player. That's why he got to where he got. We’re hoping the results come because he deserves it, with all the work he’s doing,” he highlighted.

On a personal level, Mosquera confessed he felt “very well yesterday. I hadn’t felt that good in my position, in front of the defence, for a very long time. I have to continue this way and improve.”

The Branquiazul captain made the most to convey to the fans “on behalf of all the squad, we are tremendously grateful not just for yesterday, but for the whole season. They are an example. We're going to give our all for this team to remain in Primera because it’s what it deserves.”
