The debutant Steve Aldo One and goal scorer Adrian Lopez spoke in the mixed zone in order to analyse today’s match at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

One considered that the 7-1 against Real Madrid “is a large result, a match to forget about, and start thinking about next weekend, which is when I think our league begins.”

“Many fixtures have gone by without winning, so I want to encourage people to keep cheering the team on, because the results will come soon,” he added.

Speaking about the amount of goals conceded, One stated that “in the second half we tried to draw, that’s why we opened lines, spaces appeared, and against a team with such individual quality, they punish you. Nobody’s to blame, the goals weren’t due to individual mistakes. Let’s not forget that they’re Real Madrid.”

Adrian stated that 7-1 “was a very painful result for us.”

“We played a good first half. But from the 3-1 score the team became demotivated, they wouldn’t stop prowling our goal,” said the Asturian striker.

“We have to turn a new leaf, forget about this match, and think about the following one, which is a final for us, against Levante at home. We have to try and win that match, try and gain confidence and, from there on, keep climbing.”
