Fayçal and Borges start for Morocco and Costa Rica

Fayçal Fajr, who had an outstanding performance in the last Africa Cup of Nations, played two friendlies for Morocco during the international break.

Yesterday, the Deportivista forward made it into the starting XI once again and helped Morocco beat Tunisia 1-0 at the Marrakesh Stadium. His free-kick helped Morocco seal a win.

The first was last Friday against Burkina Faso, also at the Marrakesh Stadium. Fayçal scored the opener for Morocco, who won 2-0. Fayçal came off on the 88th minute.

Our lad is expected to arrive in Coruña today.

Celso Borges is indisputable in his centenary match

Celso Borges was selected for his national side Costa Rica, for two official games in March to qualify for the 2018 world Cup in Russia.

Yesterday, Costa Rica drew 1-1 against Honduras at the Estadio Francisco Morazán in San Pedro Sula, with the Deportivista midfielder in the starting XI. Borges played 90 minutes and became the seventh Costa Rican player to be achieve 100 caps.

Last Friday, Costa Rica lost 2-0 against Mexico at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. Celso played the whole match which practically finished in the first half.

Our lad will land at A Coruña airport tomorrow afternoon.

Emre Çolak started off for Turkey against Moldavia

Emre Çolak, who is living a great football moment in Dépor, was called to play two matches for Turkey.

The second match was a friendly against Moldavia on Monday in the Turkish city of Eskisehir. The blue-and-white midfielder was part of Turkey’s starting XI. Turkey won 3-1 and Emre was substituted on the 69th minute by Kaan Ayhan.

The first of the two took place on Friday against Finland in Antalya (Turkey), to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Turkey won 2-0. Emre Çolak didn’t play.

Kakuta scored a brilliant goal against Kenya

Deportivo player, Gaël Kakuta, played a friendly against Kenya last Sunday with his national side DR Congo.

The match took place at the Kenyatta Stadium in the city of Machakos. Kenya won 2-1, and Kakuta who was in the starting line-up, scored a magnificent goal in the 60th minute that equalised the match at that moment.
