Garitano predicts a “long” and “uncomfortable” match

This morning in Abegondo's press room, Gaizka Garitano emphasized that Deportivo is facing an important week: "Firstly, tomorrow's match (Liga Santander) and then Wednesday's match against Betis (Copa del Rey). We want to finish off as well as possible".

Referring to tomorrow’s clash against Osasuna in Riazor (6.30pm Bein Sports) he said “very important, we need to win”.

The Deportivista coach warns, "it's not going to be like Real Sociedad's match, if that's what's expected. It will be a more complicated match. Two different teams. It is a crucial game for Osasuna and for us. In this kind of match it is more difficult to find space to play. We will probably have a much more uncomfortable game. "
For this reason, he asked the team to “have patience. The game will be long, we need to start well and finish well".

He then highlighted that "Osasuna have as much need as we do. It's a team that has been doing things well. Their trainer (Joaquín Caparrós) has vast experience in Primera División, who knows what to do".

He downplayed Dépor's last-minute defeats: "These things happen in football. We have to try and correct whatever we need to correct, and try and get to repeat what we did against Eibar or Sporting (last-minute victories for the Blue & Whites). Sometimes you come out empty-handed in the last minutes and other times you come out on top".
