Ismael Díaz makes it into Panama’s squad for the World Cup

Panama’s national team coach, Hernan Dario Gomez has confirmed that Fabrilista Imael Diaz has made it into Panama’s 23-men squad for the 2018 Russia World Cup.

Last night, Panama played in front of their fans before leaving to Europe, where they drew 0-0 against Northern Ireland at the Rommel Fernandez stadium, in which Fabrilista striker played the last 30 minutes.

Panama will travel to Europe on Friday to face Norway in Oslo next Wednesday, for the last preparatory friendly ahead of the World Cup, at 7 pm in the Ullevaal stadium in Oslo.

Costa Rica are finally training with their 23 players, including Celso Borges

Now that Keylor Navas has joined Costa Rica and Branquiazul midfielder, Celso Borges, the national team are finally training all together.

Before the 3rd of June, the Ticos will say farewell to their fans with a friendly match against Northern Ireland in San Jose. Already in Europe, they will face England in Leeds (7 June) and Belgium in Brussels (11 June).

Nigeria travel to England with 24 players, including Francis

Nigeria have travelled to England with 24 players, including Fabril goalkeeper Francis, to face England on Saturday 2 June (5:30 pm, local time) in Wembley stadium for another friendly.

Last Monday, Deportivista Francis played his first pre-World Cup friendly with Nigeria. It was in the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt (Nigeria), against the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Fabrilista goalkeeper played the entire game in which they drew 1-1. Francis only conceded one goal and it was because Nigeria’s rivals were given a penalty as Nigerian defender Ola Aina pushed a rival in the box.

Nigeria have another friendly scheduled on Wednesday 6 June (3 pm), against the Czech Republic at the NV Arena in St Poelten (Austria).

Krohn-Dehli makes it into Denmark’s squad

Deportivista Michael Krohn-Dehli has passed Denmark’s pre-selection of 35 men and has been chosen by Norwegian coach Åge Hareide for the next cut.

Out of the initial 35, Denmark now have a 27-men squad, in which the Branquiazul midfielder is included. 23 players will be chosen to represent the Scandinavian team in Russia.

4 pm: DENMARK - AUSTRALIA, at the Samara Arena

Denmark will also play two friendlies on Monday 2 June against Sweden at the Friends Arena in Stockholm (7:45 pm), and on Monday 9 June against Mexico at the Brondby Stadium in Brondby, Denmark (8 pm).

Fabian Schär with Switzerland in Lugano

The Swiss Football Association have informed RC Deportivo that Fabian Schär has been called to play in the 2018 Russia World Cup.

The Deportivista defender joined the team in Lugano last Sunday.

It was a known secret that he would get called, as Schär was a regular starter for Switzerland in every qualifier and friendly this past year.

Fede Valverde is training every day in Uruguay's training centre

Fede Valverde is already training on a daily basis with Uruguay in Uruguay Football Association’s training centre.
