Borja Valle and Edu Expósito spoke to the press at the end of the match against Cerceda in O Roxo this evening.

Thus, the forward from El Bierzo highlighted that what matters most about these friendlies is not the result, but “perfecting and getting a feel for things”.

Borja said that he feels comfortable this pre-season playing as a winger “the position I’ve played all my life in”, or as a full-back: “It’s a new position for me. I’m learning, gaining new concepts”.

He confessed his wish is to stay in Dépor: “I come to train and do my best. The reward will come. I’m not thinking of anything else but training”.

Moreover, Fabril player Edu Expósito stated that the veterans’ reception of the younger players was “extraordinary”.

In today’s starting XI, he explained that Pepe Mel asked him “to play fast, to be intense, to be well positioned and to distribute the ball”.

In Edu’s opinion, the sensations “are good. The team is gaining rhythm steadily”.
